DENVER, July 29, 2026 – Rocket House Pictures has been recognized as a Bronze Member of the Colorado Green Business Network, a statewide program administered by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
The program recognizes Colorado businesses and organizations that incorporate sustainable practices into their daily operations. Members can earn Bronze, Silver, or Gold recognition based on their work in areas such as energy use, waste reduction, water conservation, transportation, purchasing, and resource management.
This Bronze recognition gives us a solid starting point. We’re proud of the progress we’ve made, and we’re excited to keep improving how we work.
Bronze recognition is awarded to organizations that have begun incorporating sustainability into their operations and have taken steps to reduce resource use. For Rocket House Pictures, the certification gives us a framework for examining the environmental impact of our work, from the decisions we make in our Denver production studio to the way we plan and run productions.
Film and video production can require considerable travel, electricity, equipment, materials, and disposable supplies. Small operational choices add up across a production calendar. Becoming part of the Colorado Green Business Network helps us document those choices, find areas where we can improve, and set practical goals for the years ahead.
“We love filming across Colorado, and we want to be responsible members of the place we call home,” said Gio Toninelo, founder of Rocket House Pictures. “This Bronze recognition gives us a solid starting point. We’re proud of the progress we’ve made, and we’re excited to keep improving how we work.”
The Colorado Green Business Network is a free, voluntary program that provides participating businesses with technical assistance and sustainability resources, along with statewide recognition. Rocket House Pictures is also listed in the GreenBiz Tracker national business directory as a certified business.
For a small production company, sustainability depends on decisions made project by project. That includes planning travel carefully, reducing unnecessary waste, extending the working life of production equipment, and considering environmental impact alongside creative and logistical needs. We’re happy to reach the Bronze level, and yes, we’re celebrating. We also see it as encouragement to keep going.
